Sorry for being so lame on updating my blog here,but here is a little about what i have been up too and whats going on :o)Well what can i say,i have had some great news and have been offered to be part of the Fabrik team in Madrid,i will be playing in part of there resident DJ on nights such as Moneypennys,Cocoon,M-nus,Cream,but to name a few and i will be playing along some awesome names.Productions wise i have had 3 E.ps come out this summer with a few more releases and remixes to come out.My e.ps include My Dragon e.p which was a collaboration with Soul Centrals Timmy Vegas,this e.p is out on Universe media,next release is my Chinese whispers e.p which is released on Seamless black with remixes from Hauswerks.My next e.p is my “Progression e.p” which consists of 2 tracks called “Progression” & “Haze” this will be released also on Seamless black in the near future,finally i have just finished a remix of a piano house track for Miss Moneypennys which will also be released in the coming months.Gigs wise for October:I am about to go back to Brazil for my 5th tour for the 1st 2 weeks in October,then i will be back to run my charity events “Around the world in 80 raves” with one being on the 17th at the Rainbow garden & the next one at the Mint club on the 24th,then that brings me to my Halloween gig for Miss Moneypennys in Kidderminster where i think we are having some kind of naughty after party somewhere.

  Hello guys sorry for slacking on here but i have been stupidly busy with my charity crusade “Around the World in 80 Raves” which is coming on nicely with some interesting events and dates coming soon as well as our website which is due to launch with the next month.This week i am in London playing at a friends birthday party,this should be quite interesting as she is a porn star and this party is for invite only for the porn industry lol.Then the week after i was supposed to be at the Brazil carnival but that has now fell through and has been re scheduled which is cool for me as i have just come back from there after a month of solid touring in south Amercia. February 28th i am playing at the Rainbow warehouse for an up2nogood Ketoloco party which will be fueled full of tech-no tech heads.March 7th i will be spinning at Cream in Birmingham in area 2 room along with Rudi Stakker or Will Bailey or Bass weasel what ever you want to call him.The week after that i am proud to say that i will be playing in london at an awesome night called Techno Coalition at the Light box,this event is run as an after party for a party called Mi Mo which has going well from what i can gather.On the production tip: recently i have had my latest release called “Go deeper” on planet B.E.N Germany was released in the last week of January as a Beatport exclusive. Next up i have been working on our track for our charity campaign which will be remixed from all of our residents and all the profits again will go to Cancer research,this track has rolling basslines with subtle percussion and a minimal infectious lead with a techno back spine.Thats all for now guys,till next time x        

Due to overwhelminng commintments to my charity events my original Shanghai visit will be cancelled or atleast postponed for a while,but i will keep you posted!

Saturday 27^th December 08

Happy new year guys and I hope you had a fab Christmas,I have had a nice festive period with my first party in Swansea at a club called Monkey.

This event was called Cheeky Monkey and was organised by the Welsh breakbeat king Hybrid and a guy called Pete who are now both good friends of mine.

Cheeky Monkey was organised for cancer research and was donating profits to the cause.

This event really was special and it was rocking pretty much all night but even more so when I was on “sorry for being biased”,also on the dex was my old fellow resident at Moineypennys Dj Neil Navarra who is now resident for God Kitchen,also on the bill was Hybrid himself.

I met some brilliant people whislt on this tour and I hope that will be working with these guys again in aind of cancer research.

Sunday 28^th December 08

My good friends Fitzy and Ragg had there annual Christmas house party and of course I did my part and played a set of old skool for the old heads that were partying till the early hours,it was really nice to see everybody that miss when I am away on tour.

Wednesday 31^st December 08 NYE

Below/Rainbow/up2nogood/crunch & wobble/bigger than Barry all under the same party or shall I say festival,this spectacular NYE event took place in a warehouse,in a pub,in a swimming pool and even out in the street.

3,000 party animals certainky made this the party of the year for me,and in our room was nothing but absolute brilliance,the music was pumping and the crowd were well up for it and the beats just kept on going and we were the last room to finish,well it was hard to drag us off the dex.

I will now be heading back to my old home Shanghai China to play at some fabulous clubs which I will tell u about later,also I will be popping over to Andorra for cheeky little visit!!!!!

Mint Club Leeds and Thompsons Belfast,both rocking!!!!!!

First up the last Saturday in November saw me spinning up at a Mallorca workers reunion at Mint Club Leeds for my good friends Charlie and Scott.

The club was rammed to the rafters and the crowd seemed to be pretty much up for whatever we through at them.

This has probably been one of my favourite gigs to date that I have had actualy in England.

Saturday just gone which was the first weekend in December saw me playing at my old haunt which is Thompsons in Belfast,I have played there quite a few times before and to be honset this was the most rocking by far.

Around The World in 80 Raves

Around The World in 80 Raves

A charity fundraising campaign which will take place at various venues, nightclubs & festivals across the globe, with all the company profits donated to Cancer Research UK.

The project is masterminded by Ken Fan who’s mother sadly lost her battle against Cancer last year, as did his father in 1999.

Around The World in 80 Raves is a newly developed, registered fundraising charity who will be donating all of their time, effort and profits to Cancer Research UK.

The campaign will start mid 2009 and we will be working closely with Cancer Research UK, as well as several appointed sponsors to bring you this truly magnificent worthwhile clubbing experience.

It will be a series of fantastic fundraising events which means as well as dancing your socks off, you can experience a warm fuzzy glow inside knowing that you are helping in the fight against Cancer.

The concept is to hold 80 global events a year, with 16 profiled DJ’s who will all be playing a total of 5 gigs each.

The DJ line up includes, Ken Fan, Kim Fai of Toolroom records, Will Bailey aka Rudi Stakker, Oliver Lang from Bora Bora & Manumission Ibiza, Gaz James from In.toxikate Records, Micky Slim & his Bombsquad, Mark Maitland, Aaron Ross from Defected Records, Mikey Dalton from Big Brother, Rebekah ,Timmy Vegas from Soul Centra,Miss Moneypennys Djs and Pacha residents Graham Sahara, Andy Baxter and Matt Caseli.

The crew for each event will consist of the DJs, dancers, percussionists and tour managers with the brands creative visuals and backdrops.

The concept will also be filmed for a documentary which will show our crew in action on tour, all the while, not forgetting its in aid of “Cancer Research UK”

All the events will be listed and promoted via all aspects of media for each territory, radio, magazines and TV, aswell as running competitions for lucky candidates to come on tour with our crew.

All of the crew are excellent in their own specialist fields and are friends from around the globe who have come together to make this venture happen.

We hope you can join us for this special, worthwhile cause that is close to all our hearts as many of us have been affected by Cancer and its devastating legacy.
